ESG FINANCIAL VALUE CREATION MetRICS

yale.ESG photo.jpg

Mainstream institutional investors, senior executives and boards struggle to discern whether a company's ESG (environmental, social and governance) strategy increases, decreases or has minimal impact on financial performance.

To solve this problem we developed ESG Financial Value Creation Metrics.

ESG Financial Value Creation Metrics measure the impact of a company's ESG strategy on drivers of the company's cash flow.

The three-step methodology to produce them blends private equity investment decision-making practices with ESG and corporate sustainability expertise.

See "The Missing Metrics that Matter Most to Investors -- How Companies Can Develop ESG Value Creation Metrics" by Diana Glassman, Matthew Potoski and Patrick Callery in The Journal of Environmental Investing (September 22, 2017), volume 8, no. 1.
